To develop a lighting solution that provided safety but also a sense of scale and identity to the new stadium. Higher than the London Eye, the huge arch has generated a new symbol for Wembley in place of the twin towers that decorated the old stadium and
Approach
With a huge amount of fans travelling via rail, The station has been regenerated able to handle match day crowds of 12,000 passengers an hour which is an increase of around 2,000 people an hour. This modernisation has connotations for capacity and crowd
Result
An iconic installation of stunning Woodhouse light stacks that have a duality of benefit of both safety and visual impact.

Wembley Stadium
One of the UK's most impressive stadia, Wembley has a circumference of 1km with seven levels and a roof that rises to 52m above the pitch. The 1,750 ton 'triumphant arch' is the largest stadium clear span roof structure in the world.
About Wembley:
- A removable running track, cutting the capacity to 68,400 for staging athletics.
- With 90,000 seats, and 2,600 toilets it is one of the biggest stadiums in the world with every seat under cover and no obstructed views.
- There are 71,200 general admission seats, more than the entire capacity of any other stadium in the UK.
