Challenge
Mansfield required a defined identity and a large public realm redevelopment in the town centre demanded a suite of lighting and street furniture to achieve this.
Approach
By working with the architect and client to select a design led, robust and contemporary street furniture solution, Geo was chosen to provide all elements of the external works.
Result
A fantastic civil space enhanced by a full suite of Geo products including direct and indirect ambient lighting and street furniture. This forms a base to give a true sense of identity to the area and to enhance town centre living and retail investment.

Mansfield Town Centre
Mansfield was earmarked for regeneration due to it’s status of one of 64 urban areas regarded by the Government as being of city size. Due to this status, the Council's aspiration was to create a centre that contains the range and quality of services and civil space expected in a city centre. The newly regenerated centre is used by the Council to promote the town's huge potential to private investors, as well as giving local residents a better quality of life and businesses an insight into how Mansfield will develop into a quality city the future.
