We specialise in co-ordinated systems: families of lighting, signs, seats, bollards and other street furniture, sharing common design themes and materials. Our philosophy is to help reduce street clutter and create visual links between public spaces. Our extensive experience of project-specific design also gives us the engineering resources needed to turn clients’ own concepts into functioning and practical realities. |

Woodhouse enjoys a reputation for high
quality, contemporary design and is unique in offering families of coordinated street furniture and exterior lighting products. Our outlook is firmly grounded in principles of urban design, the visual power of simple and modern forms, minimising street clutter and the legibility of towns and cities. Woodhouse products are selected by architects, urban and landscape designers, lighting consultants, and engineers. The company sets out to offer a design-based service to architects and designers, looking for good, contemporary products and bespoke, project-specific construction. The company was established in 1987, and now employs some 40 people at its premises and showroom in Leamington Spa. Woodhouse is a Marshalls specialist business and subject to the Group’s well established management systems which are fully accredited: Environment (BS EN 14001-2004), Quality (BS EN ISO 9001 -2008 ) Health and Safety (BS OHSAS 18001-2007) IMS accreditation (PAS 99-2006). Where it is sensible we use our resources to manufacture and assemble directly with our premises. Where complex production processes, designs or material specifications are required we use the extensive, tried and tested network of specialist materials suppliers and fabricators to support us in cost-effective delivery of our clients’ requirements. We therefore opted to identify, qualify and appoint specialists in all the disciplines we need and then assemble the finished products in our own factory. |
